If
you meet the Canadian
Presence Requirements for registrants
you can register a new .ca domain name
by following these steps:
Search
for your domain name by conducting
a "whois"
search. You can only register a new
.ca domain name if it is not registered
to anyone else.
After
completing the registration process,
first-time registrants will receive
an e-mail including a user id and
password, which they will have to
enter on CIRA's secure Web
site in order to accept the Registrant
Agreement.
Applications
will be processed on a "first come,
first served" basis,
in accordance with CIRA's Registration
Rules.
