Instructions
There are a number of different
methods of uploading your web page. Each method is described in its
own section below. The most important thing to remember, that applies
to all of the below methods, is that YOUR MAIN INDEX PAGE MUST BE
NAMED index.html, NOT index.htm. Otherwise
you will not be able to see your web page even after you upload it.
Note: ASP users may
use index.asp or default.asp as well as index.html
for their default page names.
IF
YOU ARE USING FTP TO UPLOAD YOUR FILES...
MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT DELETE ANY FRONT PAGE FOLDERS OR THE FILES postinfo.html OR _vti_inf.html IN
YOUR WEB FOLDER. IF YOU DO THIS, YOUR FRONTPAGE EXTENSIONS WILL NO LONGER
WORK.
